What You Can Expect

Following the eruption of Mount Erciyes many millennia ago, Cappadocia formed into a geologically stunning landscape. Explore some of the area’s highlights with your guide after hotel pickup in the morning.

Head first to Dervrent Valley (Imagination Valley) to take in the surreal landscape before continuing to Pasabagi (Monks Valley) where Christian hermits built hermit cells and churches. See a variety of fairy chimneys then stop for lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the Goreme Open Air Museum to view Byzantine-era cave churches with detailed wall paintings and frescos. From the Esentepe lookout point, take in sweeping views of  with over the Goreme Valley.

Cap off your day with a view of Uchisar Castle, a tall rock that is the highest point of the region. Your tour ends with return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
